The liquid spreads across the latter’s palm, resembling a fragile act of transfer. The pure blue gradient background lends a stage-like sense of ethereality to this interaction filled with contrasts. Through delicate treatment of light and shadow, Negron conveys the transparency of the liquid, while the rough cracks suggest the wounds of the giver.
