A Tibetan Thangka. Hand-painted on cloth with intricate gold designs and teal accents on a predominately black ground, depicts Shakyamuni Mandalas (Dkyil-vkhor) consisting of three central medallions that contain images of Buddha all surrounded by eight vignettes which hold various figures/attendants and creatures. Red characters on the reverse. Wear and creasing, minor staining and flaking/losses. 49 x 23" high overall. ESTIMATE $200-400
