A Tibetan Thangka. Hand-painted on cloth with gold accents, depicting Manjushri on a red ground, or Tsal tang, surrounded by eight attendants all within decorative borders. Red characters with handprint on the reverse. Wear and creasing, minor staining and flaking, some loose stitching at the lower left corner that where borders join. Image 19 1/4 x 28" high, mounted on silk, 32 1/2 x 42" high overall. ESTIMATE $300-500
