Mark of Wang Chengpei, Chinese, d. 1805. A hanging scroll depicting two young boys flying kites on the backs of water buffalos at the edge of a river on paper. Calligraphy and artist seal lower right. Water damage along right side, toning, slight foxing, paper thinning with some fading and surface wear, small area with puncture to paper before being mounted mid left, finials with minor wear, some wrinkles. Image 24 1/4 x 49 1/4" high, mounted on a silk scroll, 29 x 81 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $100-200
