After Yan Hui, Chinese, active c. 1300-1400 and/or Wu Wei (Xiao Xian), Chinese, 1459-1508. A hanging scroll depicting two monks standing together, one in a Red robe and the other in White with a double gourd flask on paper. Signed "Made by Yan Hui" with calligraphy and more than twenty seals throughout the image, including Qianlong Dynasty Imperial seals, collection seals of Shiqu Baoji, Xiang Yuanbian, Zhao Mengfu, Pang Yuanji, Xiang Yuanbian and Xiang Zijing. Toned, foxing, some discoloration and fading, paper thinning with some losses, a few water spots at silk edges, some wrinkles, wear to finials. Image 17 3/4 x 43 1/4" high, mounted on a silk scroll, 23 1/2 x 79 3/4" high overall. ESTIMATE $100-200
