Mark of Gao Jianfu, Chinese, 1879-1951. A hanging scroll depicting a traveling man seated at the base of a tree with a large tied bundle and among falling autumn leaves on paper, after an image by Fang Rending (Chinese, 1901-1975). Calligraphy with artist seal upper right. Some water damage along left edge, some foxing and toning, small smudge in the lower silk panel, creases and wrinkles, finials with wear to finish. Image 31 x 27" high, mounted on a silk scroll, 36 1/4 x 63 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $100-200
