Mark of Hao Haotian, Chinese, 20th/21st century. An ink and color on paper hanging scroll, depicting Bodhidharma, a 5th 6th century Buddhist monk credited with bringing Zen Buddhism to China, crossing a river in flowing Black robes carrying a vajra scepter. Calligraphy with artist seal upper left. Slight foxing, some toning, minor wrinkles. Image 23 1/2 x 46 1/2" high, mounted on a silk scroll, 27 x 65" high overall. ESTIMATE $100-150
