Mark of Ren Yi (Ren Bonian), Chinese, 1840-1896. An ink and color on paper hanging scroll depicting two scholars seated beneath a large pine tree with mountains in the distance. Calligraphy and artist seal mid left. Toning and some foxing, particularly at ends of silk scroll, some creases and wrinkles. Image 19 1/2 x 42 1/4" high, mounted on a silk scroll, 27 1/2 x 71 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $200-300
