Mark of Zhang Daqian (Chang Dai-chien), Chinese, 1899-1993. An ink and color on paper hanging scroll depicting a man seated on the bough of a pine tree with mountains in the distance. Calligraphy with artist's name and two artist seals upper right, two additional seals lower left. Toning, silk with minor discoloration and foxing, creases and wrinkles. Image 14 x 37 1/2" high, mounted on a silk scroll, 19 1/2 x 74 1/4" high overall. ESTIMATE $200-300
