Mark of Empress Dowager Cixi, Chinese, 1835 1908. An ink on paper hanging scroll featuring a calligraphy character on an Orange ground with faint printed Dragon medallion and cloud motif. Imperial seal center top. Paper with some fading, wear, and creasing. Image 26 x 49 1/2" high, mounted on a silk scroll, 31 1/2 x 91" high overall. ESTIMATE $300-400
