Mark of He Jiaying, Chinese, b. 1957. An ink and color on silk horizontal scroll depicting a young woman seated with a hand fan and cat, partly obscured by a sheer gossamer curtain. Calligraphy with two artist seals lower left. Foxing, some toning and minor ink transfer, some wrinkles, small tear to lower left corner of silk mount. Image 37 1/2 x 29 1/4" high, mounted to a silk scroll without rods, 45 1/4 x 37" high overall. ESTIMATE $300-500
