Mark of Song Wenzhi, Chinese, 1919-1999. An ink and color on paper handing scroll titled, "Misty Villages in Jiangnan". Depicts a coastal Jiangnan landscape with fishing boats and houses nestled in the hills among trees. Calligraphy with artist seal lower right, characters attributing work to Wenzhi on label verso. Some toning, smudges and paint transfer, creases and some wrinkles. Image 26 3/4 x 26 3/4" high, mounted on a silk scroll, 32 x 69 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $300-500
