Mark of Zhao Shao'ang (Chao Shao-an), Chinese, 1905-1998. An ink and color on paper hanging scroll depicting a bird hunting a frog while perched on top of a traditional woven fishing basket. Calligraphy with artist seal upper left. Slight foxing, some toning, minor paint transfer, some wrinkles and light creasing. Image 18 1/4 x 37 3/4" high, mounted on a silk scroll, 23 1/2 x 73 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $300-400
