Mark of He Jiaying, Chinese, b. 1957. An ink and color on silk horizontal scroll depicting a young woman playing a bamboo flute, seated upon a rocky outcrop beside two trees. Calligraphy with two artist seals lower right. Slight foxing in lower margin, some toning and minor smudges, short tear at right sheet edge, edges wrinkled. Image 51 3/4 x 32 1/4" high, mounted to a silk scroll without rods, 68 1/2 x 40 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $400-600
