Mark of He Jiaying, Chinese, b. 1957. An ink and color on silk horizontal scroll depicting a young woman wearing a sundress, seated on a rocky outcrop playing cat's cradle. Calligraphy with two artist seals lower right. Very slight foxing, toning and faint smudges, small spot of ink transfer, silk painting with small tear at edge prior to mounting, minor wrinkles, area of silk with stretching/lifting. Image 50 1/4 x 34 1/2" high, mounted to a silk scroll without rods, 57 1/4 x 43" high overall. ESTIMATE $300-500
