Mark of Zhao Shao'ang (Chao Shao-an), Chinese, 1905-1998. An ink and color on paper horizontal scroll depicting songbirds perched on a branch of a tree with large leaves. Calligraphy with artist seal mid left. Some foxing, toning, some smudges, paint transfer and wrinkles. Image 70 1/2 x 37 1/4" high, mounted to a silk scroll without rods, 87 x 43 1/4" high overall.
