SERAPI RUG: 11'3" X 14'9" Circa 1900 Unusual hexagonal central medallion with a bold red floriform center suspends abrashed blue pendants on an ivory field filled with traditional blossoming branches in faded shades of blue, pink, green and brown. Faded and abrashed brown/tan subfield with motifs to match the field. Unusually broad and dramatically abrashed red main border with boldly rendered turtles, blossoms and serrated leaves.
