Bronze Celtic Arrowhead money Proto-coins from ancient Moesia, found in Pontic Olbia (Black Sea Olbia), trading with Sarmatians, circa 600-400 BC. Length: 23 mm and 22 mm; Weight of 2 arrowheads: 2.98 g; Weight: 7.26 g (in the carton envelop); Weight of envelop without coins: 4.28 g; Lot of 2 Bronze Celtic Arrowhead money Proto-coins from ancient Moesia, circa 600-400 BC. Used by Greeks and Celts in the Eastern Danube region as currency before the introduction of coins. Struck in Istros. PROVENANCE: New York, USA. From the collection of Franke Zollman, D. Min.
