18th Century Chinese "Scholar's Bowl" or "Stand Bowl"

18th century, blue and white porcelain. In the Kangxi revival or "heaped and piled revival" taste, with lattice diaper pattern throughout the body and four scenic reserves. Likely a stand bowl or scholar's bowl, with a heavily browned and worn raised foot (which probably had a lacquer or wood stand). Pale blue interior and underside within foot. Old collector note citing the bowl as "18th century- probably Yung Cheng/ imitate heaped and piled". Ht. 5.25", diameter 10.5". PROVENANCE Private Collection, Columbus OH Collected from sources in Southeast and East Asia, ca. 1965-1975, and subsequently in New York, ca. 1975-1985
