Circa 3th century A.D. Portrait of a young woman, marble. Oval face with large and dominating eyes under high and sharply edged eyebrows. On the right eye dot-shaped,drilled pupil. The slightly protruding cheek-bones covered covered by softly modelled skin.Small mouth with curved lower lip. Short chin softly flaring in the neck. The head is adorned with an accurate hairstyle composed of beaded single braids arranged in a bow over the forehead, covering then the whole calotte and bundled at the nape to a large roll.
