Kyo-Satsuma, Kyoto, Japan. Ca. 1880–1900. Small sugar bowl made of cream-white earthenware with fine crackle glaze, equipped with two handles and a matching lid with gilded knob. Rectangular mark in gold on black, characteristic of the Kyoto Kyo-Satsuma workshops.
