…douard Chimot (French, 1880-1959) Nude Study pencil and conte crayon on paper signed Chimot (center right) 12 3/4 x 10 in. This lot is located in Philadelphia. Paper is toned with light and time, with some more noticeable toning along margins. Pinholes present to each corner. Gentle creases throughout, commensurate with light handling - most notably in lower left quadrant. Paper is hinged to mat at top two corners. There is an area of light discoloration to top left corner verso - this does not appear to effect the recto. Additional images available upon request.
