FÈlix Hilaire Buhot (French, 1847ñ1898) Parisian Street Scene; with Figure Study Verso (a double-sided work) graphite on paper signed with artist's stamp (lower right) 3 1/2 x 6 1/4 in. This lot is located in Philadelphia. Sheet is hinged to matboard via two pieces of conservator's tape at top two corners. Uneven toning to sheet concentrated at extreme edges. Minor diagonal crease to lower right edge. Spot of foxing present at upper left corner. Two spots of apparent brown soiling present at lower left verso. Residue from prior adhesive present along left edge verso with associated skimming. Additional images available upon request.
