Eugene Antoine Guillon (French, 1834ñ1914) Portrait of a Deputy charcoal and graphite on paper signed E.A Guillon (center right) 11 5/8 x 8 1/4 inches. This lot is located in Philadelphia. Sheet is hinged to the mat board via three pieces of conservator's tape across top edge. Minor creases to sheet consistent with age and use. Uneven toning to sheet concentrated across top edge. Skimming to paper present at top left and right corner. Pinhole present at upper right center, to right of figure's head. Area of light brown discoloration at upper right corner, corresponding area of brown soiling verso. Additional images available upon request.
