A Cizhou jar with figure decoration and a stylised inscription in Cizhou ware China, Ming dynasty H. 25,4 cm Upwardly widening shape on an unglazed stand. Cream-coloured glaze with brown decoration. From an old South German private collection, acquired at Nagel, 15.5.1999, lot 2184 - Wear, the stand partly chipped, glaze partly corroded Schultertopf mit Figurendekor und einer stilisierter Aufschrift aus Cizhou-Ware China, Ming-Dynastie H. 25,4 cm Nach oben sich erweiternde Form auf unglasiertem Stand. Cremefarbene Glasur mit braunem Dekor. Aus einer alten süddeutschen Privatsammlung, erworben bei Nagel, 15.5.1999, Lot 2184 - Etwas berieben, am Standring bestoßen, die Glasur partiell korrodiert
