A fine persimmon-glazed 'ding' ware dish China, Northern Song dynasty 12,2 cm Finely potted, the floriform dish covered all over with a reddish-brown persimmon glaze, thinning at the rim to brown and cream tones, extending to the unglazed flat foot. Important Spanish private collection, acquired at Sotheby's New York, 18 March 2008, lot 108 (invoice copy preserved) Cf. similar dishes but standing on footrims, e.g. from the Linyushanren collection, sold at Christie's Hong Kong,2 Dec 2015, lot 2819 as well as at Sotheby's New York, 19 Sep 2023, lot 768. - Tiny chip to the rim, few very small firing blemishes Seltenes Schälchen aus 'Ding'-Ware mit Persimonenglasur China, Nördliche Song-Dynastie 12,2 cm Fein in Blütenform getöpfert, rundherum bedeckt mit einer rötlich-braunen Persimonenglasur, die sich an den Rändern braun und cremefarben verdünnt, der flache Fuß unglasiert.
