H. 31 cm The oval mask shows an angry facial expression with narrow, slit-like eyes under arched eyebrows that reach up to the bridge of the nose, as well as a wide-open mouth framed by a moustache and a row of metal decorations around the chin that suggest a beard From an old Southern German private collection, family-owned before 1960 - Traces of age Rituelle Maske aus Metall Wohl Nepal, 19.Jh. H. 31 cm Die ovale Maske zeigt einen zornvollen Gesichtsausdruck mit schmalen, schlitzartigen Augen unter gewölbten Augenbrauen, die bis zum Nasenrücken reichen, sowie einen weit geöffneten Mund, der von einem Schnurrbart eingerahmt wird, und eine Reihe von Metallverzierungen um das Kinn, die einen Bart andeuten Aus einer alten süddeutschen Privatsammlung, vor 1960 im Familienbesitz - Altersspuren
