A BRONZE FIGURE OF AMOGHAPASHA Nepal, 19th cent. H. 15,7 cm Standing in samabhanga on a lotus base placed on a larger lotus throne, his eight arms radiating around his body, the hands holding the prescribed attributes, wearing dhoti, scarf draped around his shoulders, bejewelled, his face displaying a serene expression, his hair combed in a chignon topped with a minute figure of Buddha Amitabha and flanked by a pair of worshippers kneeling on the lotus base. Jahrhundert H. 15,7 cm Stehend im Samabhanga auf einem Lotusthron, der auf einem größeren Lotusthron steht, seine acht Arme strahlenförmig um seinen Körper, die Hände halten die vorgeschriebenen Attribute, er trägt einen Dhoti, ein Tuch ist um seine Schultern drapiert, er ist mit Juwelen geschmückt, sein Gesicht zeigt einen gelassenen Ausdruck, sein Haar ist zu einem Dutt gekämmt und wird von einer winzigen Figur des Buddha Amitabha gekrönt, flankiert von zwei Verehrern, die auf dem Lotusthron knien.
