A PARCEL-GILT EMBOSSED COPPER FIGURE OF SYAMATARA Tibet, 18th/ early 19th cent. H. 36 cm Seated in lalitasana on a lotus base with her right foot resting on a smaller lotus issued by the main one, her right hand in varadamudra while the left is showing the vitarkamudra, both hands still holding stems of lotuses originally flowering along her upper arms, wearing sari, scarf draped around her shoulders, bejewelled, her face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows, elongated earlobes with ear ornaments, her hair combed in a chignon and decorated with a floral ornament, unsealed. Jahrhundert H. 36 cm Sie sitzt in lalitasana auf einem Lotussockel, ihr rechter Fuß ruht auf einem kleineren Lotos, der vom Hauptlotus ausgeht, ihre rechte Hand ist im varadamudra, während die linke das vitarkamudra zeigt, beide Hände halten noch Stängel von Lotosblumen, die ursprünglich entlang ihrer Oberarme blühten, sie trägt einen Sari, ein um die Schultern drapiertes Tuch, Schmuck, ihr Gesicht zeigt einen heiteren Ausdruck mit niedergeschlagenen Augen unter gewölbten Augenbrauen, verlängerte Ohrläppchen mit Ohrschmuck, ihr Haar ist zu einem Dutt gekämmt und mit einem floralen Ornament verziert, unversiegelt.
