She sits on the ground and lets a long, colourful necklace slide through her hands. In the background a rocky cave landscape reminiscent of the Buddhist Mogao Grottoes on the Silk Road. Signed lower left. "Ting Shao Kuang 丁绍光 1986.". Affixed to the lower edge of the frame is a plaque from a Chinese government office: "Presented by the Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs of the State Council, People's Republic of China."
