A BRONZE FIGURE OF YAMA Tibet, 19th cent. H. 15 cm (o.S.) Standing in pratyalidhasana, the right hand holding a kapala while the left is raised in tarjanimudra, clad in a tiger cloak, a shawl billowing around his shoulders, jewelled, his bull's head showing a fierce expression with protruding eyes under bushy eyebrows, open mouth, a pair of horns and his flaming fury;His bull's head shows a fierce expression with protruding eyes under bushy eyebrows, open mouth, a pair of curved horns and his flaming hairstyle fastened with a tiara decorated with skullcaps, on a pedestal. Important South German private collection collected between 1956 and 2007, according to tradition acquired in 1994 at Kuo Ostasiatuka Berlin, collection no. 20073 - Slightly chipped, wear BRONZEFIGUR DES YAMA Tibet, 19.Jh. Stehend in Pratyalidhasana, die rechte Hand hält eine Kapala, während die linke in Tarjanimudra erhoben ist, bekleidet mit einem Tigermantel, ein Schal weht um seine Schultern, mit Juwelen geschmückt, sein Stierkopf zeigt einen grimmigen Ausdruck mit hervorstehenden Augen unter buschigen Augenbrauen, offenem Maul, einem Paar gebogener Hörner und seiner flammenden Frisur, die mit einer mit Totenköpfen verzierten Tiara befestigt ist, auf Sockel.
