A GILT-COPPER EMBOSSED THRONE SECTION Tibet, 16th cent. H. 20 cm / 29,4 cm The rectangular-shaped throne section is hammered in ajour with a central placed bodhisattva standing on a lotus base, both hands holding a stem of a lotus flowering along his upper arms, wearing dhoti, bejewelled, his face displaying a serene expression, the figure set between three struts of the throne and topped with a makara, on stand. Jahrhundert H. 20 cm / 29,4 cm Das rechteckige Thronteil ist in Ajour gehämmert mit einem zentral platzierten Bodhisattva, der auf einer Lotusbasis steht, beide Hände halten einen Stiel einer Lotusblüte, die an seinen Oberarmen entlang blüht, er trägt einen Dhoti, ist mit Juwelen geschmückt, sein Gesicht zeigt einen heiteren Ausdruck, die Figur steht zwischen drei Streben des Throns und ist mit einer Makara gekrönt, auf einem Ständer.
