Ohara Koson (1877 - 1945) Japan, early 20th c. 49 x 129,5 cm / 49,5 x 130 cm Two paintings, ink and color on silk. One depicts a kingfisher diving to catch fish in a reed-lined pond; the other shows a flock of swallows and a weeping willow. Each is signed “Koson” and bears the artist’s seal. From an old Berlin private collection - Ohara Koson (1877 - 1945) Japan, frühes 20. Jh. 49 x 129,5 cm / 49,5 x 130 cm Zwei Malereien, Tusche und Farbe auf Seide. Darstellung eines Eisvogels beim Fischfang im Sturzflug in einen von Schilf gesäumten Teich sowie eines Schwarms Schwalben vor einer Trauerweide. Jeweils signiert „Koson“ mit Künstlersiegel.
