A pair of bronze vases with enamel decoration Japan, sign. Saitô sei, Meiji period H. 22,7 cm Long-necked shape with ornamental handles. With silver, gold and metal decoration and relief overlay of non-ferrous metal and translucent green enamel with thin tendrils and flowers, the neck with shippô motifs with hanabishi. From an old German private collection, acquired at Lempertz Köln, 31 May 2005, lot 658 Saitô Zenbei worked in Tokyo. A vessel and cover by him was shown at the 1883 exhibition in Boston - One vase with a small dent - Traces of use Paar Vasen aus Bronze mit Email-Dekor Japan, sign. Saitô sei, Meiji-Periode H. 22,7 cm Langhalsform mit ornamentalen Henkeln. In Silber-, Gold- und Metalldrähten sowie reliefierter Buntmetall-Auflage und grünem transluzidem Email dünne Ranken und Blätteer, am Hals Shippô-Motive mit hanabishi. Aus einer alten deutschen Privatsammlung, erworben bei Lempertz Köln, 31.5.2005, Lot 658 Saitô Zenbei arbeitete in Tokyo. Ein Deckelgefäß von ihm wurde auf der Ausstellung 1883 in Boston gezeigt - Eine Vase mit Druckstelle - Gebrauchsspuren
