Two vases made of copper and bronze with floral branches in takazogan by Miyabe Atsuyoshi and Yamamoto Kōken Japan, signed Miyabe Atsuyoshi and Yamamoto. Meiji period H. 26,5/ 24,8 cm The copper vase with magnolia branches signed: Dai Nippon Kyoto Ju Ikkodo Miyabe Atsuyoshi (Resident of Kyoto, Great Japan; Ikko Studio; Miyabe Atsuyoshi), follower by the artist's monogram (kao), as well as a circular gold area in the center of the inscription (the hallmark of Miyabe Atsuyoshi). The bronze vase with a plum branch signed: Yamamoto zō (Made by Yamamoto). From an old German private collection - Partly slightly chipped and/ or traces of use Miyabe Atsuyoshi was a renowned master goldsmith and bronzesmith in Kyoto, active during the late Edo and Meiji periods (approx. late 19th to early 20th century). - Yamamoto Kōken (often also listed as Yamamoto Yukinari) was a well-known Japanese metal artist of the Meiji period (1868-1912). Jahrhundert) aktiv war. - Yamamoto Kōken (oft auch als Yamamoto Yukinari geführt) war ein renommierter japanischer Metallkünstler der Meiji-Zeit (1868-1912). Er war berühmt für seine meisterhaften Arbeiten aus schwerer Bronze und dekorative Relief-Intarsien (Takazōgan)
