An ivory Okimono of two Samurai and a horse Japan, Meiji period. H. 7 cm Lively carved Okimono depicting two samurai and a horse. One samurai is shown falling headfirst from the standing horse, while the other warrior lies beneath the horse, holding the reins with one hand. Weight: 75 g. From an old North German private collection, acquired prior to 1990, 1995 documented on a collector's card - Minor wear, one foot of a samurai with repair Okimono aus Elfenbein mit Darstellung von zwei Samurai und einem Pferd Japan, Meiji - Periode H. 7 cm Lebendig und detailliert geschnitzte Darstellung eines Samurai, der kopfüber von seinem stehenden Pferd stürzt.
