In the style of Yu Xing (also: Yu Sheng) China, Qing Dynasty je/each 163 x 43 cm Lotus and a pair of mandarin ducks, flowering shrubs and garden rocks. Dated 1770, two hanging scrolls, ink and colours on blue-tinted paper. Each with an inscription and the artist’s signature in the top left corner: ‘In the year of Gengyin (1770), in the 6th month of summer/in the 3rd month of spring, Zengsan Yu Xing’. Each bears a seal of the painter: “Seal of Yu Xing” (Yu Xing zhi yin). Old North German private collection - Yu Xing, also read as ‘Yu Sheng’, whose given name was Zengsan, was a famous court painter at the imperial court during the Qianlong era (1736-1795). He specialised in flowers and birds and was highly esteemed by the Qianlong Emperor. Many of his works bear the Emperor’s own inscriptions and were included in the imperial catalogue Shiqu baoji - Partially restored and minor age-related damage Im Stil von Yu Xing (auch: Yu Sheng) China, Qing-Dynastie je/each 163 x 43 cm Lotos und Mandarinentenpaar, Blühende Sträucher und Gartenfelsen. Datiert 1770, zwei Hängerollen, Tusche und Farben auf blau getöntem Papier. Jeweils eine Aufschrift und Signatur des Malers oben links: „Im gengyin-Jahr (1770), im 6. Monat im Sommer/ im 3. Monat im Frühling, Zengsan Yu Xing“. Jeweils ein Siegel des Malers: „Siegel des Yu Xing“ (Yu Xing zhi yin). Alt norddeutsche Privatsammlung - Yu Xing, auch ‚Yu Sheng‘ gelesen, Mannesname Zengsan, war ein berühmter Hofmaler am Kaiserhof der Qianlong-Zeit (1736-1795). Er war spezialisiert auf Blumen und Vögel und wurde vom Qianlong-Kaiser sehr geschätzt. Viele seiner Werke tragen eigenhändige Aufschriften des Kaisers und wurden in den Kaiserlichen Katalog Shiqu baoji aufgenommen - Part. rest. und kleinere Altersschäden
