A small bronze of Nammalvar and Ramanuja South India, Nayak period, ca. 18th cent. H. 5,2 cm He sits cross-legged on a lotus pedestal placed on a throne, his right hand showing the abhayamudra while the left rests on his shoß he wears a dhoti and is adorned with jewels; his face shows a serene expression and his hair is styled in a knot. H. 5,2 cm Er sitzt mit gekreuzten Beinen auf einem Lotussockel, der auf einem Thron steht, seine rechte Hand zeigt das Abhayamudra, während die linke auf seinem Schoß ruht; er trägt einen Dhoti und ist mit Juwelen geschmückt; sein Gesicht zeigt einen gelassenen Ausdruck und sein Haar ist zu einem Knoten frisiert.
