Order of the Crown of Siam (Thailand), Ist Class Grand Cross J. W. Benson, London, ca. 1935 div. Type II, period of issue between 1873-1941. Sash badge in silver, the floral cross arms enamelled in red and green, with central Royal emblem. Reverse with medallion bearing Thai script. With original sash ribbon. Housed in the original fitted case with velvet and silk lining, the cover with logo “J. W. Benson, London'' From an old German diplomat's collection, assembled prior to 1920 - This order was instituted in 1869 by King Rama IV to recognize meritorious service to the Thai state and the Crown. The decoration could be awarded to both Siamese (Thai) citizens and foreign nationals. Orden der Krone von Siam (Thailand), Großkreuz (I. Klasse) J. W. Benson, London, ca. 1935 div. Typ II, Verleihungsperiode 1873-1941. Schärpenabzeichen aus Silber, die floral gestalteten Kreuzarme rot und grün emailliert, mit zentralem königlichem Emblem. Revers mit Medaillon und thailändischer Inschrift. Mit originalem Schärpenband. Im originalen Etui mit Samt- und Seidenfutter, im Deckel bezeichnet „J. W. Benson, London'' Aus altem deutschem Diplomatenbesitz, gesammelt vor 1920 - Dieser Orden wurde 1869 von König Rama IV gestiftet, um Verdienste für den thailändischen Staat und die Krone zu würdigen. Die Auszeichnung konnte sowohl an Bürger Siams (Thailands) als auch an Ausländer vergeben werden.
