A BONE, WOOD AND METAL CASKET India or Ceylon, 18th/19th cent. 10,2 (14,6) x 18,8 x 11,8 cm The rectangular casket is standing on four shaped feet, the top and four sides set with bone panels carved in relief with scrolling tendrils encompassing various designs including flower heads and parrots, the top with a shaped metal handle, the front with lock and fitted key and the inside covered with a red textile. Jahrhundert 10,2 (14,6) x 18,8 x 11,8 cm Die rechteckige Schatulle steht auf vier geformten Füßen, das Oberteil und die vier Seiten sind mit reliefierten Knochentafeln mit Rankenwerk versehen, das verschiedene Motive wie Blumenköpfe und Papageien umfasst, das Oberteil mit einem geformten Metallgriff, die Vorderseite mit Schloss und eingepasstem Schlüssel und das Innere mit einem roten Stoff bezogen.
