A bronze figure of Buddha Shakyamuni Thailand, Rattanakosin period, 19th c. H. 50 / 64,5 cm Standing in samabhanga on a separate cast throne, both hands in abhayamudra, wearing uttarasangha fastened around the waist with a belt, samghati covering both shoulders, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows, curled hairdo continuing into the ushnisha and topped with a separate cast flame, traces of gilt- , red- and black-lacquer. H. 50 / 64,5 cm Er steht in Samabhanga auf einem separat gegossenen Thron, beide Hände im Abhayamudra, bekleidet mit einem Uttarasangha, der mit einem Gürtel um die Taille gebunden ist, und einem Samghati, der beide Schultern bedeckt; sein Gesicht zeigt einen gelassenen Ausdruck mit gesenkten Augen unter gewölbten Augenbrauen, die lockige Frisur geht in die Ushnisha über und wird von einer separat gegossenen Flamme gekrönt; Spuren von Gold-, Rot- und Schwarzlack.
