A bronze group of Vishnu and Garuda Khmer, Angkor Vat period, 12th c. H. 18,5 / 24 cm Vishnu is standing on the shoulders of the winged Garuda bird, his principle arms broken while the secondary ones holding chakra and lotus, wearing sampot, bejewelled, his face displaying a serene expression with almond-shaped eyes, his conical-shaped hairdo secured with a crown, Garuda is standing on a plinth, both arms raised, the hands holding snake, wearing sampot, bejewelled and his head with bird-shaped face. Old European private collection - Chipped Bronzegruppe von Vishnu und Garuda Khmer, Angkor Vat Periode, 12. Jh. H. 18,5 / 24 cm Vishnu steht auf den Schultern des geflügelten Garuda-Vogels, seine Hauptarme sind gebrochen, während die Nebenarme Chakra und Lotus halten, er trägt Sampot, ist mit Juwelen geschmückt, sein Gesicht zeigt einen gelassenen Ausdruck mit mandelförmigen Augen, seine kegelförmige Frisur ist mit einer Krone gesichert, Garuda steht auf einem Sockel, beide Arme sind erhoben, die Hände halten eine Schlange, er trägt Sampot, ist mit Juwelen geschmückt und sein Kopf hat ein vogelförmiges Gesicht.
