Patinated iron and shakudo (copper and gold alloy) mokko gata tsuba of oval shape, decorated with stylized elements in relief. It features the central nakago-ana and two lateral hitsu-ana, which were used to house the kozuka (utility knife) and the kogai (an ornamental/functional hairpin), both inserted into the sword scabbard. Japan, Edo period (1603–1868), 19th century (6 × 4 cm) (defects). IT Tsuba in ferro patinato e shakudo (rame e oro) di forma ovale decorata da elementi stilizzati a rilievo. Presenta il nakago-ana centrale e i due hitsu-ana laterali che servivano per alloggiare il kozuka (coltellino utilitario) e il kogai (uno spillo ornamentale/curativo) che venivano inseriti nel fodero della spada.
