A Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Box and Cover, Meiji period, in the manner of Namikawa Yasuyuki, of oval form with flower knop, decorated with mythical beasts in lappet panels on a yellow ground within foliate borders 12cm wide Overall in very good condition, free from dents and repair. On the internal enamel there are fine cracks running from the knop hole on the cover, nothing externally. Some very minor pit marks to the enamel on the underside only but these are minor.
