A Pair of Chinese Porcelain Dogs of Fo, 19th century, typically modelled sitting, one with its forepaw on a brocade ball, the other with a forepaw on a puppy, on rectangular bases, the whole picked out in famille rose enamels 43cm high Plinth dimmensions - 19.5cm by 14cm by 12.5cm Both with some firing cracks in the plinths. No professional restoration. Some crazing and bubbling to the yellow sections on top of the plinths. Dog with pup - one corner of the base broken off and re glued. Large flat chip to the rim of the base at the rear. Chip to one eyebrow. Dog with brocade ball - loss to the centre curl of one eyebrow
