A Chinese Porcelain Bottle Vase, in Yongle style, painted in underglaze blue with a sinuous dragon amongst cloud scrolls below a scroll border 46cm high The lower hemisphere of the bottle has been broken out in three large pieces, there is an 18th / 19th century staple repair left honest. There are som slightly extended cracks, some areas drilled in preperation for staples but none deployed. There is a triangular shard lacking and filled at the tim of the stapling. No attempts at later overspray repair. Some fritting and abrading to the top rim. Slight glaze scratches and pitting.
