A Chinese Porcelain Plaque, Wanli reign mark and possibly of the period, of square form, painted in underglaze blue with a dragon chasing the flaming pearl above waves within a diaper border with panels of peaches, bears six-character reign mark in underglaze blue 31cm by 31cm No cracks or restoration. With a flat chip to the lower right hand side. The plaque has warped slightly during firing. Multiple stilt marks to reverse and with reverse staining. Some glaze scratches and pitting.
