Two-volume woodblock print book 'Sui Yangdi Yanshi' China, Qing dynasty je 29,5 x 18,5 cm [Tales of the Love Affairs of Emperor Yangdi of the Sui Dynasty], 40 chapters with illustrations and poems, including works by Li Bai and Du Fu. The old pages have been remounted on a younger leporello; the title page is missing. From an old German private collection, acquired in June 1949 from Wolfgang Brandes, antiquarian booksellers and art dealers, Braunschweig; correspondence regarding this purchase from November 1961 to February 1962 is available - Some minor damage due to age and partly slightly stained Zweibändiges Holzschnittbuch 'Sui Yangdi Yanshi' China, Qing-Dynastie je 29,5 x 18,5 cm [Erzählungen über die Liebesgeschichten des Kaisers Yangdi der Sui-Dynastie], 40 Kapitel mit Illustrationen und Gedichten, u. a. von Li Bai und Du Fu.
