A bronze figure of Padmasambhava Tibet, 19th c. H. 15,5 cm Seated in vajrasana on a lotus base placed on a rocky pedestal cast with eight minute Buddha figures to its front, his right hand showing the varadamudra holding a flower while the left is resting on his lap supporting the alms bowl, wearing various garments including a mantle covering both shoulders, his face displaying a severe expression with protruding eyes below raised eyebrows, elongated earlobes with ear ornaments and his head topped with the specific bonnet, the reverse of the lotus base cast with a dedicatory inscription, resealed.
