A gilt-bronze of Yama Tibeto-Chinese, 19th cent. H. 19,5 cm Standing in pratyalidhasana on the separately cast buffalo resting on a likewise separately cast figure on the lotus pedestal, the raised right hand brandishing the club while the left is lowered and holding the pasha, nude, wearing only channavira, mala of severed heads, encrusted with jewels, his bull's head shows an angry expression with bulging eyes under bushy eyebrows, an open snout with teeth and fangs, a pair of curved horns, pointed ears and his flaming hairstyle adorned with a diadem with three skulls, unsealed.
